Austin Spurs Host Fan Appreciation Game Saturday, April 1st

Players Will Wear American Heart Association Themed Jerseys

AUSTIN, Texas (March 27, 2017) – The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, will host their annual Fan Appreciation Game during the final contest of the season on Saturday, April 1 at 7 p.m. vs. the Sioux Falls Skyforce at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. The game is presented by Texas Mutual and benefits the American Heart Association.

To show appreciation, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a reusable bag and sunglasses with the Austin Spurs logo, courtesy of Wells Fargo. In addition, there will be a drawing during each quarter of the game, giving fans the opportunity to win prizes including player-signed merchandise.

The players ​will be wearing special themed jerseys in support of the American Heart Association that will be auctioned off after the game. The team’s popular post-game Toss for a Cause will also benefit the AHA.

Prior to the game, the Central Texas High School All-Star Games will be held at the arena. The girls’ game begins at 2 p.m. and the boys’ game begins at 3:30 p.m. Austin’s own Kris Clack and Ray Jackson will be coaching the games with the assistance of local high school coaches.
